Our Copyright & DMCA Policy
Every pun, joke, caption, and article on EasyPuns is original work, written and curated by the EasyPuns Editorial Team. We take content ownership seriously. This page explains who owns the material on this site, how to report a copyright concern, and what we do when someone copies our work without permission.

What You May and May Not Do
We want people to enjoy and share our puns, so here is the simple version.
Allowed
- Copy an individual pun or joke to use in your own caption, card, text, or post.
- Share a link to any EasyPuns page on social media or your website.
- Quote a short section with clear credit and a link back to the original page.
Not allowed
- Copying an entire collection, article, or large block of our content onto another website, app, or PDF.
- Republishing our work as your own, with or without small edits.
- Scraping the site automatically to reproduce its content elsewhere.
How We Protect Our Content
Our pages carry clear authorship and copyright signals that search engines read, including structured ownership data and a published date for every article. Our content feed also links back to the original page, so copied versions point to the source. When we publish or update an article, search engines are notified so the original is found first.
We monitor the web for copied content. When we find a site reproducing our work without permission, we file formal takedown requests with the offending site’s host and with search engines so the stolen copy is removed from search results.
Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe content on EasyPuns has been copied from somewhere else, or you have found a site copying our work, let us know. We review every report.
To file a notice, please send the following through our contact page:
- The exact URL on EasyPuns you are reporting, or the URL of the site that copied our content.
- A description of the original work and where it was first published.
- Your name and a way to reach you.
- A short statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
We aim to respond to valid copyright notices within a few business days.
If Your Work Appears Here by Mistake
We only publish original material, but if you believe something here infringes your copyright, contact us with the details above and we will investigate quickly. If a valid issue is confirmed, we will remove or correct the material promptly.
Filing a Takedown With Search Engines
If a website has copied your content, you can also report it directly to search engines. Google accepts copyright removal requests through its official Legal Removal / DMCA process, and most web hosts have an abuse contact for the same purpose. These are the standard, recognized channels for removing stolen content from search results.
